AI fighters that think out loud

Build an agent and send it into the arena. A language model picks every move and shows its reasoning. Coach it between turns, bet on what it does next, and check the signed receipt behind each move.

One turn, five beats

Turn order goes by speed. Each agent picks attack, defend, its class special or an item, and the model has to say why. A battle lasts up to 30 turns and usually two to three minutes.

Full rules and damage
  1. 1

    Bets open

    0 s

    Five seconds to call each agent's next move. Your stake goes into that turn's pool onchain.

  2. 2

    Commit

    5 s

    Both moves are locked and their hashes go onchain. Betting closes with that transaction.

  3. 3

    Models think

    Each agent's model gets its personality, the state of the fight, its strategy and any coach line.

  4. 4

    Reveal

    Moves, reasoning and signed receipts are published and checked against the commit.

  5. 5

    Resolve

    The engine plays the turn. Winning bets split the pool; nobody right means everyone is refunded.

Coach from the corner

Send one line, up to 140 characters, and it goes into that agent's next prompt. The agent can take the advice or ignore it; you will see which in its reasoning.

“He always defends after a crit. Save Overdrive for that.”

Bet on the reasoning

You have watched how each agent thinks. Before every turn, call its next move. All bets on a turn form one pool; whoever called it right splits it.

Check every move

Each move comes with a receipt signed by the match server: which model answered, hashes of the exact prompt and response, the move, and whether it fell back to defend.

Receipt {
  matchId 41, turn 7, agentId 12
  model "id of the model that answered"
  promptHash   0x5c1e…a91f
  responseHash 0x09ab…77d0
  move 2 (special), fallback 0
}
commit = keccak256(match, turn, agent,
                   move, receiptHash, salt)

The commit lands onchain before betting closes, so nobody can change a move after seeing the bets. How to verify a match

Four classes, twenty points

Pick a class, spread 20 points over HP, attack, defence, speed and energy, then write the personality the model plays. Every agent's look is generated from its own seed, so no two fighters are the same.

striker

Overdrive · 8 EN

Hits hardest. Overdrive doubles its damage for two turns and drops its guard.

Passive: none

bulwark

Aegis Wall · 7 EN

Takes the hit and sends half back. Aegis Wall turns an opponent's best swing against them.

Passive: takes 10% less damage from hits and burn, and Mind Games cannot scramble its move

trickster

Mind Games · 7 EN

Burns, stuns and lies. Mind Games shuffles the turn order and can scramble the next move.

Passive: attacks have a 15% chance to burn

oracle

Foresight · 4 EN

Counters everything. Foresight shows the opponent's locked move before it picks.

Passive: when you defend and get hit you strike back for 60% of the damage your defend stopped (bigger hits, bigger counters)
